• A meat mixture! (It was what Girl had left for me in the freezer) Two kinds of chicken and hamburger.*
• Little apples from the tree in the yard – one of my favorite foods! Plus you can also roll on them and get that fresh apple scent on your fur, and play with it until you get tired of that, then eat it!
• Marshmallows
• Real liver* (Thanks Missy!)
• “Hollywood Stars” yogurt flavored treats
• Cut up chicken strips from Martain's!*
[*Note from Girl: These are higher value treats for Noah, so he usually only gets them in places where we're working/training that have more distractions.]
Recent meets (places I've gone):
• Our local Tractor Supply Company store (TSC) to train. Ivy went too. I love going because the people there pet me lots, and talk to me and even give me big treats sometimes – though Girl wishes they were smaller.
• A TSC store that was a ways away to visit a Karen Pryor clicker training class. There were big dogs and little dogs, and one really tall dog that made me a little nervous, and one of my puppies Bella was there, and Timber, Ivy's brother, was there too and his puppy Lexi! The people there were nice also, and I sure was tired when we got back home.
Recent photo Girl took of me:
• Well she was walking around, and of course I was following closely because I wanted to go with her to... wherever she was going, and then all of the sudden... she started walking backwards. I just stared at her for a minute because usually we don't walk backwards unless we're heeling. When she came close to me I decided “Okay, I can do this.” So I began walking backwards too, at which point Ivy decided I was crazy and started to wrestle me. “Ivy! I have an important job of following Girl so that I can go with her, and I don't want to play right now!” … she kept headbutting my side. “Okay, okay! I''ll wrestle you to the ground.” I though that she might quit once I pinned her down, but of course she wanted to keep on playing. ... And no,. I didn't get to go with Girl, though she told me I would have been bored at the meeting she attended. But I forgave her, and she let me lick out a peanut buttery dish today.
Recent thing I read on the internet:
• This blog post about how some of the Lutheran Church Charities (LLC) comfort dogs were shot at along with their humans. I feel saddened to hear that. I think it's great that LLC dogs and their people have the opportunity to “share the mercy, compassion, presence and proclamation of Jesus Christ to those who are suffering and in need.” … all Christians can do that I guess, whether or not they train a dog. And I am so glad to hear that both canines and humans are recovering good.
