But on this walk I noticed things.
This afternoon, I filled my pocket with dog kibble, grabbed a clicker and set out on a walk with Noah. On bike rides it's mostly feeling the cool breeze, the thrill of Noah when he runs beside me and taking care of him (ex. watching out for cars, going slow).
But on this walk I noticed things.

It's my blog's one year anniversary! Wow! Hopefully I've grown a little since starting. Let's look back on my very first post and see what's changed, or, what's stayed the same.... Well we don't have those pigs anymore, unless you count living in the freezer as a home. :) And thankfully I don't get as distracted as I did back when I was two, unless someone's cooking bacon. Yum! My fur's still golden yellow - I'd be worried if it changed! I also still don't like getting all that dirty, but Ivy's helped me learn to enjoy a little mud every now and then. Of course, I still eat mini marshmallows, just not recently because someone needs to go on a cupboard hunt and find them!! (Girl, if I was allowed in the kitchen, I do it for you. Just sayin'.)
I love Noah and there's no doubt about it that he loves me back. Since Valentine's day is just around the corner, I decided to compile a list of yummy looking, love themed dog cookies for you and your furry friend to make. While I've never tried these, some of them look so cute and simple, that I'm tempted to go on a grocery run just so Noah and I can see how we like them! If you make any, be sure to let us what you and your pooch thought about them (did you love them, or did you not?) in the comments!
♥ Girl PS To me, these are such an encouraging verses about God's love for us! "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:35; 37-39 "When the water in your dog's bath is brown as mud, know that Spring has officially begun. " Okay, I know Spring began on March 20th, but at our house it was still kinda cold outside. Now that April's here, that means washing off muddy paws after outdoor exercise and play time (April showers do bring May flowers)! Then after mud comes hot, sticky days,Noah getting grass 'stains' by rubbing his back in the lush green grass, then the apples Fall off the tree in the back yard and before we know it, snow will be comin' down again and Noah will be excited to go outside and frolic in it. I guess I should just enjoy what ever season I'm in. I know Noah does. Ever season is a time to grow, learn and play. Come to think of it, that's every day too. A life lesson from my dog. But even if I didn't have a dog, I could've learned it because that's like what it says in the Bible, in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."
