It's been filled with with new plants, new animals and new adventures; with both good times and hard times. 4H projects have been started, a nursing home's been visited, and we've enjoyed eating a few suppers on our back patio with the company of songbirds and dogs.
Life on the farm in April has been busy and good.

Yesterday was a fun, full day that started at 27 degrees Fahrenheit and approximately 7:58 am. Girl and I went on our first ice bike ride... it was cold! Girl came up to a stop sign and tried to stop the bike with her feet -we just kept sliding. We waved to an Amish guy using a Bobcat (the machine, not the animal - that would be scary! and weird... ) in a neighbors pasture. Riding up to "our" railroad, we heard a train in the near distance blowing it's horn. Going home was a bit harder since the wind was against us, but we made it, a little out of breath, but with energy. ... Why were we getting our exercise in so early? Because I had visitors coming!
