2. He encourages me to get outside in the sunshine and move - helping fight against being overweight and having depression. (I mean, why else would I be going past barking, charging dogs, on my bike, if it wasn't for Noah needing exercise?)
3. He pushes me to become a better communication/trainer. To learn to have patience, be silly, to think of ways to teach him what I want, to ask for help, and clean up poo with a good attitude.
4. He also makes me a little more confident in my abilities, and helps me more social. I'll be honest with you, I'm kind of a homebody sometimes. I'd really rather stay at home eating ice cream and checking Facebook, than going out to meet new people. But (especially when Noah was young and needed more socialization) I'd have to go to stores with Noah, and people want to talk to you if you have a dog sometimes.
So what I'm trying to say is: Thank You God, and Noah, for training me to be a better human being.
Happy birthday my Noah! Together we can grow far!
