The puppies loved their recent visit to a facility for people with Alzheimers. We're not sure who enjoyed the visit the most: the lovely people that lived there or the puppies. The puppies played, slept on laps, explored necklaces and in general enjoyed being the center of attention. The residents loved petting, kissing, talking to them and watching them romp around.
The most amazing interaction was between a puppy and a woman whose first language was not English, who was dozing and in general disinterest in what any one else was doing, but once the puppy was set in her lap she became fully engaged and began cooing to the puppy in her native language with a huge smile across her face. She really enjoyed holding the puppy, caressing and loving on it.

We are so glad that we took the time and energy to take the puppies to the nursing home.
